Emanuel (Manny) Calisto is an LGBT activist and vice principal in Winnipeg. He consults with Manitoba school divisions on how to properly teach LGBT issues and sexuality.

Kerry Bertoncello-Dale, best known for his drag persona, Satina Loren, graduated as valedictorian from College Jeanne-Sauvée in 2009. Shortly after highschool, he ventured into the world of drag, becoming Entertainer of the Year in 2011 and eventually being elected Empress XV of Winnipeg. As Satina, he now fundraises money for local LGBT charities.

Uzoma is a registered psychiatric nurse with the Government of Manitoba and the founder of Queer People of Colour (QPOC).

Glen Murray currently serves as Ontario's minister of the environment and climate change. He was the mayor of Winnipeg from 1998-2004 and the first openly gay mayor of a major North American city. Throughout his political career, Glen has been an advocate for LGBT rights. He was the co-founder of Winnipeg's first HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention clinic and as a city councillor, fought for recognition of LGBT celebrations, like Pride.

Michel Fillion ran for mayor in Winnipeg’s 2014 civic election. He is a co-owner of Superb Entertainment—a local business that provides DJ, musicians, dancers and other types of entertainment for Winnipeg events.

Evan Wiens was one of 20 students across Canada to receive the 2014 TD Scholarship for Community Leadership, worth $70,000. He was awarded the scholarship for his anti-bullying activism in his hometown community of Steinbach. Evan is currently in his first year of political science at the University of Winnipeg.
